Wildlife Park

Working at a Wildlife Park provides an up close and personal introduction to the diversity of life not only locally but on the planet. The Parks we work have an excellent reputation for animal care and likewise have rehabilitation facilities on site. The parks bring together diverse fauna for viewing that may otherwise not be possible for the public.

This is a chance to work on a daily basis with these unique creatures and assist the public’s appreciation and conservation of them.

The intern will gain experience in all aspects of animal care and maintenance including animal feeding, food preparation, grooming, maintenance of live food colonies and animal record keeping. This program allows the intern the gain exposure to the level of care, maintenance dedication required to support a wildlife park of this type and the inhabitants. Applicants should note that there is no veterinary component to this internship.
