Agricultural business (agribusiness) has a wide scope – from farming to management, to production, and to marketing of agricultural commodities, crops and livestock included.

An internship abroad will expose interns to innovative business ideas, and policies and procedures involving compliance solutions for farmers, food manufacturers, and restaurants.  Interns are also deployed on firms doing food certification and quality inspection.

Program Highlights:

  1. Explore opportunities on the most profitable businesses in agriculture, such as Vermicompost Organic Fertilizer Production, Organic Farm Green House, and even Bee Keeping Business.
  2. Act as supervisor and plan the farm or facilities’ budget, organize routine maintenance, and keep office records.
  3. Learn how to operate farm machinery and give workshops in agricultural marketing.
  4. Make a database of farmers and consumers and be given exclusive access to marketing tools in agribusiness.
  5. Contact exporters and logistics for shipping requirements.
